Rental counseling is for clients who have never rented before, or who are currently renting, but wish to learn about their rental options. These clients are provided with rental search assistance and other resources that would benefit their situation. CJHRC counselors can help clients learn about both market-rate apartment options and affordable housing rental options.

CJHRC’s free Rental Info & Resources webinar provides information to potential and existing tenants about Federal/State housing programs, how to qualify for the limited number of affordable rental units, Fair Housing and The Fair Chance in Housing Act, money management, credit, evictions, search techniques, tenant/landlord responsibilities, locating rental units, and more.
