    Due to high volume of clients seeking help and services from Central Jersey Housing Resource Center Corp. (CJHRC), staff cannot take any walk-in clients who do not have an appointment.

    Appointments are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.  Please contact our office a 908-446-0036 or email 2cjhrc@gmail.com.

    Sharon Clark - Executive Director/Housing Counselor

    Sharon joined CJHRC in 1993 and became the Executive Director in 1997. Sharon spends 30% of her time on direct client counseling and feels the best part of her job is helping clients attain their goals. She oversees all aspects of the agency.

    Susie Suter - Program Manager/Housing Counselor

    Susie is the Program Manager/Housing Counselor. She joined CJHRC in February 2017. Susie oversees the overall operation of the Housing Resource Center Staff and ensures all program goals are met, prepares grant documents, agency outreach and CJHRC’s social media presence.

    Laura Wetzel - Part Time Accounting Assistant

    Laura Wetzel joined CJHRC in 2004. As of May 1, 2021 she is a part-time Accounting Assistant responsible for all accounting activities and grant reporting for the agency. She works collaboratively with accountants, consultants, board members and staff.

    Jaaide P. Ramirez Melgarejo -- Assistant Program Manager/Bilingual Counselor

    Jaaide is the HRC Assistant Program Manager and a Counselor. She joined CJHRC in October 2022.  Jaaide works well with cilents, assists staff and translates resources to Spanish when needed.  She is working towards passing her HUD counseling exam in 2023.

    Paola is the HRC/FFS Assistant and a bilingual (Spanish) counselor. She joined CJHRC in March 2021.   She is responsible for assisting clients, assisting staff and translates resources when needed. Paola is working towards passing her HUD counseling exam.

    Iris Lorenzo - Fee for Service Manager/ Bilingual Counselor

    Iris is the Fee for Service Manager and bilingual (Spanish) counselor who began employment with CJHRC in 2008. Iris oversees all aspects of the 1250 Fee for Service affordable housing units that CJHRC is the Administrative Agent (AA) for.in the towns of Bernard’s, Franklin, Green Brook, Warren, Raritan Borough and Raritan Township (Flemington).

    Laura Lieb - Fee for Service (FFS) Assistant Manager/ Counselor

    Laura is the Fee for Service Assistant Manager and Counselor who has worked with CJHRC since 2002 and has held many titles throughout her career with CJHRC. Laura ensures and oversees all aspects of the affirmative marketing for the FFS department while running the random selection processes, data base management of FFS lists and assists with the FFS rental department.

    Janet is the Fee for Service Assistant and a bilingual (Spanish) counselor who began her career with CJHRC in 2019. Janet processes rental, sale and resale applications. Janet maintains client files and updates same while handling questions and concerns from applicants.

    Dollie Della Ventura - Part time FFS Senior Assistant

    Dollie joined CJHRC in 2000 and is currently a part time FFS Senior Assistant. Dollie handles a variety of paralegal and FFS duties including file review, certifications, sale and resale documents and tasks to get buyers to the closing table.

    Directions to Central Jersey Housing Resource Center (CJHRC) Office located at: 92 East Main Street, (Rt. 28) on the 4th Floor, Suite 407, Somerville, NJ 08876.  GPS will bring you to the front door of 92 East Main Street which faces the street (you cannot enter there to reach our Suite).  YOU MUST ENTER THE MAIN BUILDING FROM THE  PARKING LOT - NOT THE STREET.   Enter through the glass doors and you will see a large lobby with plants and two elevators in front of you. Take an elevator to the 4th floor and follow the signs to Suite #407.

    Metered parking spots on East Main Street require money in meters; then walk on the brick walkway which is located on the left-hand side of the parking lot until you see the main entrance doors or you can park in the Parking Deck at no charge. The parking spots are numbered so you can locate your car easily; you can park in any numbered spot as long as it is not dedicated to someone with a sign. Leave the parking deck entrance where you entered. The main entrance to the 92 E. Main Street building is on your right.

    FROM THE NORTH
    Take Route 287 South to Exit 17. Landmark: Pass Bridgewater Commons Mall on left; stay to right. Turn right onto Route 22 East. Immediately after the 2nd overpass, turn right onto Grove Street (just past Kentucky Fried Chicken). Go straight until East Main St. and make a left. Take the next right to enter the parking lot. The parking deck is directly in front of you and our building (#92) is on the left. You can park in the parking deck at no charge. The parking spots are numbered so you can locate your car easily; you can park in any numbered spot, as long as it is not an assigned parking spot with a sign. Parking is Free. Come out the parking deck entrance where you entered. The main entrance to the building is on your right. Take the elevator to the 4th Floor. Coming out of the elevator, make a right then take your next right by the vending machines. Our office door is at the end of the hallway (Suite 407).  NOTE: If you park on East Main Street, you will need to put change in the parking meter. To enter the office building from a metered parking spot on East Main Street, walk on the brick walkway which is located on the left-hand side of the parking lot until you see the main entrance door to the building (#92).     FROM THE SOUTH (Via Route 287) 
    Take Route 287 North to Route 22 West. Landmarks: Pass Bank of America on the right. Immediately after the 1st overpass, turn right (see sign for Somerville).     Take Route 206 North. Landmark: On Route 206 North approaching Somerville, look for a low stone wall on left (Duke Gardens). Shortly past this wall, turn right onto Bridge Street (Somerville). At 2nd traffic light, turn right onto East Main Street. Entrance to the parking lot is a ¼ mile on the right. The parking deck is directly in front of you and our building (#92) is on the left. You can park in the parking deck at no charge.
